The game is very popular in South America, Central America, and in Europe. Futsal has been growing rapidly in the United States over the past couple of years. Lansing City Futsal is a professional futsal club that plays in the Lansing City Arena located on the west side of Lansing. Lansing City Futsal plays in the National Futsal Premier League which will run from January – April. The NFPL features teams Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus, Akron, Grand Rapids, Detroit and Ann Arbor.
