About Bettis Family Sports Complex

The Bettis Family Sports Complex, formally known as the Lake Shawnee Sports Complex, is one of the premier multiuse facilities in the Midwest. Nestled along the shoreline of Lake Shawnee in Topeka, Kansas, this 22-acre complex is a destination site for any sports enthusiast.

There are six lighted baseball diamonds with artificial turf infields and grass outfields. Jerry Robertson Field serves as the home field for Shawnee Heights High School baseball and the Topeka Golden Giants summer collegiate team. The lighted, full-size, multi-purpose field is home to Shawnee Heights' men's and women's soccer teams.The complex includes two concession stands, restrooms, locker rooms, a plaza area, six offices, a reception area, two conference rooms, an umpires locker room, and the Lake Shawnee Event Center which is a year-round rental facility overlooking the complex.

The Bettis Family Sports Complex has played host to several NBC World Series, minor league baseball as well as state, regional and national tournaments.
