Lonnie Poole Golf Course serves as the home for the men's and women's golf teams of North Carolina State University. Also open to the public, the course provides one of the toughest challenges in the Triangle, playing 6,901 yards from the black tees, though shorter tee sets allow anyone to enjoy the course. This beautiful course represents the evolution in golf course architecture towards sustainability; a golf course that fits into and protects the natural environment.

Founded in 2001, the Triangle Sports Commission is the sports commission for the Triangle region of North Carolina consisting of Wake, Durham, and Orange Counties. A 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization and long-time Community Olympic Partner of the U.S. Olympic Committee, the TSC focuses on the hosting of Olympic and amateur sports events and activities that help develop athletes, promote the region, and foster positive branding and economic impacts for the Raleigh-Durham market.

The Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance (GRSA) is always interested in working with groups or individuals who want to bring sporting events to Greater Raleigh. If your event is in line with the GRSA's general objectives (attracting events that generate visitor spending and/or media exposure, or both), then we will be glad to take a close look at your proposal. Chances are, we will assist with your bid effort and do everything we can to help bring your event to Greater Raleigh.
