DYSports Basketball Tournaments are tournaments designed for boys & girls basketball teams developing their game. It is an excellent opportunity for feeder/school teams, B-Level or below select/AAU team, and Rec/YMCA/Boys and Girls Club teams looking to take the next step

Divisions: Boys and Girls 3rd grade to 11th grade

Games will be played at Ballard High School and Edmonds College.

All youth, no matter their age or gender, develop, grow, and mature at different paces. The same goes for youth teams. For youth teams to develop, they need the ability to compete. Comparable competition allows them to work on recently learned skills, run play sets, and enjoy the game. In today’s select tournaments, too often there is a large gap between the talent level. This gap can hinder youth growth and development. DYSports was started to give select youth teams the chance to compete, grow and develop. DYSports was not established to give everyone a trophy—some of life’s best lessons come from setbacks and loses. However, more equal competition will better spur youth development. Because in the end it is not how you started but how you finished your career.

Seaview Gynmasium is located on the Edmonds Community College campus and is home to the Edmonds CC Tritons. It's a 14,200-square-foot space that can be configured to accommodate two full-court basketball courts for tournament play or used as one college-sized floor with retractable bleachers that can seat more than 500 spectators. The gym can also fit three full-sized volleyball courts and can host karate tournaments, MMA fighting, roller derby and other events.
