Northside ISD Gym

The new District Sports Gym is on a portion of the existing Farris Athletic Complex in San Antonio, Texas. The building consists of a single court basketball/volleyball venue with 2,500 individual spectator seats, venue-appropriate sound reinforcement and acoustic design, multi-purpose and audiovisual rooms, large conference room, two sets of home/visitor team spaces, facilities for officials, public restrooms, concessions sales/support spaces, and administrative offices for athletic personnel and staff including toilet room and storage spaces.

The gym building also includes facility support functions including receiving dock and storage, maintenance offices and ground crew support spaces. Planning will provide for future technology and audiovisual upgrades to the building.
