About Alpine Regional Tennis Association (ARTA)

In September 2012, the award-winning Alpine Regional Tennis Association (ARTA) was formed to grow and promote tennis in Gaylord and surrounding areas. It is a 501(c)3 organization.

As a US Tennis Association (USTA) community tennis association, ARTA provides training and resources for the sport of tennis as a safe, low-cost, healthy outlet for people of all ages.

Alpine Regional Tennis Association will foster interest and skill development for the lifelong sport of tennis for people of all ages in Northern Michigan.​

In 2018, ARTA completed the construction of (4) adjacent outdoor tennis courts at the Otsego County Sportsplex. These courts will accommodate USTA tournaments, leagues, and recreational players, to become a regional tennis hub.

Provide tennis programs promoting healthy living for all ages and levels of play.
