Rice Park Playground is located at 44 Swarens on the west side of Hutchinson. The park features a walking path that visitors can easily access the Jim P. Martinez Sunflower Trail and the many activities available at the park. Rice Park has three baseball and softball fields, which include one high school baseball field and two baseball/fastpitch fields. In 2017, the newest splash pad opened, making it a popular family attraction.
