McDonald Golf Course

McDonald is a 9 hole Municipal Golf Course in the great City of Evansville. As one of three Municipal regulation golf courses in the City, McDonald is the longest 9 holes out of all the courses so don’t expect that this course is only for beginners. It always sports some of the best greens year to year. In 2011 we bit the bullet and had the fairways redone in Bermuda Grass to keep the fairways in proper shape for the Summer months. 2012 was the first full year with the new fairways and it turned out to be a great investment for the course as the grass completely has taken over the fairways for a great golfing experience. We also had every teebox covered in zoysia grass. This is a great improvement for our par 3 holes. Every tee box having this grass improves aesthetics as well as play-ability since this grass is so durable and consistent.
