The Monument

The Monument, formerly known as the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, is Rapid City's premier full-service convention, exhibition, multi-sport performance complex. With the major expansion of the Summit Arena completed in the fall of 2021, this event center now offers nearly 500,000 square-feet of flexible space right downtown. Whether you are holding a convention or a sporting event, The Monument can cater to many different types of groups.
