Franklin & Marshall College

Built in 2017, Shadek Stadium is home of the Diplomat football program and the men's and women's lacrosse programs. The stadium's field has lights and a surface of artificial turf. Seating for 2,500 surround the field.

Built in 1995, the Alumni Sports & Fitness Center is a multipurpose athletic and recreation facility. It includes a field house with a suspended indoor track, aquatics center and fitness center. The Schnader Field House at Franklin & Marshall’s Alumni Sports and Fitness Center (ASFC) measures 51,000 square feet, and consists of a 6-lane indoor track and five indoor tennis courts. The area also can be configured to have five basketball courts, two volleyball courts, four badminton courts and a pair of batting cages. The Kunkel Aquatic Center is a 21,000 square foot natatorium housing the 50-meter x 25 yard McGinness Pool. The pool features a handicapped accessible ramp, and is open to the College community.

Caplan Field is the home of Franklin & Marshall’s baseball team. The field surface was upgraded and fenced in 1997. The Diplomats’ diamond features a batting cage and a press box adjacent to the home dugout.

The home of the softball team, the Baker Campus Field was completed in 2004. The field is fully fenced, and backs up to a wooded area providing a peaceful setting for a softball game. Outdoor batting cages allow for players to swing away while the diamond is in use.

The Brooks Tennis Center is a lighted, eight-court square with two courts per quadrant. It opened for use in 2007.

Mayser Gymnasium can fit 2.5 hardwood basketball courts. It is complemented by a multi-purpose indoor training surface and five ASB international squash courts in the same facility.

Tylus Field became the home of Franklin & Marshall’s soccer, field hockey and lacrosse teams at the start of the 2007-2008 academic year. The playing surface is a 106,000 square foot A-Turf surface with XX infill systemadorned by state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems.

Sponaugle-Williamson field is the home of Franklin & Marshall’s football and track teams. The grass field surrounded by an 8-lane track is perfect for a multitude of outdoor sports needs. Armstrong Field, an auxiliary grass field on campus, complements the outdoor facilities at F&M.
