The Ron Morgan Little League Park complex is home to 4 diamonds of varying sizes that are managed by the Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association.

These diamonds are designed for players of all ages, including the 400-seat Newell Field with full-size infield, outfield fences, and dugouts. There are bullpens, batting cages, clubhouses, and concessions on-site.

This venue is served by WOOSH transit Route 51, with connection to the Thickwood Terminal.

Wood Buffalo ranks by area, as one of the largest municipalities in North America encompassing 68,454 square kilometers.

The municipality was established in April 1995 through the amalgamation of the City of Fort McMurray and Improvement District No. 143.
