Duluth Friends of Tennis is a non-profit community tennis association dedicated to promoting tennis in Duluth. We maintain the Longview courts and clubhouse and run a court reservation system during peak play hours. 

We coordinate instruction and organize tennis lessons, tournaments, and team play opportunities for players of all ages. Longview tennis courts offer free walk on court time to the public if courts are available. Lessons are also available to the members and nonmembers. Membership allows for court reservations and supports kids tennis.

Longview has two pickleball courts, free equipment use, and reservations with membership. If you have your own equipment, there is free walk on to the public.

The hundreds of miles for biking and hiking are always minutes away in any direction. From the paved Lakewalk and Munger Trail to off-road biking (with chair lift) at Spirit Mountain, you’ll find it all. The internationally renowned Superior Hiking Trail spans 29 miles within city limits and continues on to Canada. It’s some of the most rugged and beautiful scenery anywhere. Terrain you could mistake for mountain foothills. Forests with trickling trout streams. Rocky bluffs, hundreds of feet up overlooking the great wide open of Lake Superior and the St. Louis River estuary—all right in the heart of the city.
