About Lions Arena

Home to the Saskatoon Lions Speed Skating Club’s short track program, the Lions Arena is home to the city’s best short track speed skaters. With a 111 m oval short track, complete with safety padding, the arena features exciting speed skating from the fall to the spring.

In addition to speed skating, the facility is set up for a multitude of other winter programs, including learn-to-skate and public skating. Municipally owned and operated, the Lions Arena features one ice surface (185 X 85 feet), a concession, locker rooms, digital scoreboard and sound system, seating capacity for up to 500 spectators and plenty of free parking.
