About City of Barberton Parks Department

The Parks and Recreation Department puts on year-round programming, events and activities for the Barberton community's well-being and enjoyment.

The Parks and Recreation's Active Adult Center is located inside the same building as the YMCA at 500 W. Hopocan Ave. The Active Adult Center has year-round programming for the members of the center ages 50 and older. This includes exercise classes, euchre, bingo, pool, bus trips, monthly movie, special events and so much more
