Mill Creek Park on the north side of Main Street (formerly Warrior Creek Park) is a 2.15-acre park located behind the fire station and next to the Mill Creek, which flows northeast into the Huron River.

The ¼ mile pedestrian path leads visitors across the Mill Creek and through wetland habitat before exiting into the Westridge of Dexter neighborhood.

A wooden stairway was added to provide access from the park up the steep hillside to connect to the Dexter District Library and the Farmers Market.

The Pat & Paul Cousins Memorial Trail (formerly the Mill Creek Trail) is located adjacent to the Mill Creek tributary of the Huron River. The Trail runs through Mill Creek Park North and South, and continues south, connecting to Baker Road near Creekside Intermediate School.

Some segments of the Trail serve as primary pieces of the Washtenaw County Border to Border Trail, while other segments serve as spurs or feeder segments to the B2B.

In total, the Trail is over one mile long. The segment of the Trail from Forest Lawn Cemetery south to Baker Road is approximately 8/10ths of one mile.

Celebrating over 15 years in 2021, the City of Dexter Farmers Market is excited to bring you fresh, locally grown food and made crafts. Taking place May through October, typical hours of operation are Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.

The First Street Park is located at the end of Edison Street along the railroad tracks. The park is equipped with horseshoe pits, picnic tables and a porta potty during the summer months.

Community Park is located on Ryan Drive and is open to the public. The park contains a paved walking/biking path, gazebo, benches, playground, and basketball court.

Dexter-Huron Metropark is a heavily wooded 122-acre park with picnicking facilities along the Huron River.

Get out into nature and experience the rich ecosystems along the Huron River. The dense woodlands, open fields and gently flowing waters are home to a variety of unique plants and animals. Spend the day picnicking, biking, fishing, paddling the Huron River or enjoying the labyrinth.

Play equipment, fishing, restrooms and baseball diamond. Three picnic shelters are available and can be reserved. Metropark vehicle entry permit required.

Motawi Tileworks makes handcrafted tile as art pieces and for residential and commercial installations. Owner and Artistic Director Nawal Motawi began creating historically inspired tile in her garage and selling it at the local farmers market. Demand for her work grew, and in 1992 Motawi formed The Tileworks, which came to specialize in Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts and Midcentury Modern aesthetics. In addition to its own unique designs, The Tileworks is also licensed to produce art tile based on the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and Charley Harper. Social Vines is a new vineyard and winery located between Dexter and Ann Arbor, set on a 70-acre farm spread from Dexter Ann Arbor Road to the Huron River.
