It is a city built around the railways towards Montreal, Quebec, and the United States more than 200 years ago. An urban environment that has since become an extraordinary living environment. Sherbrooke is also the sound of water hitting the hydroelectric dams of the gorge of the Magog River, day and night.

Sherbrooke is also the combination of Francophone and Anglophone cultures, that over the years, have themselves taken some of the thousand and one colours of the many cultural communities who settled here too.
