Forsgren Park

Forsgren provides two practice soccer fields, two little league baseball diamonds and a cricket pitch. A playground is available at the north end of the park with play structures for 2-5 year olds, 5-12 year olds, an accessible communication board, shade structure and swingset. The park provides plenty of paved parking areas. The portable restroom at Forsgren is winterized and closed November-March each year and no permanent restroom is available.

The property was formerly a county-owned gravel pit. It was reclaimed in the early 1980s and offered to the Parks Division. The first development of the site was funded by a HUD grant that provided for grading and seeding of the soccer fields. The North Shore Soccer Youth Association funded the all-weather soccer fields and baseball fields. The association continues to maintain the fields and schedule games.
