Collins Park

Collins Park is recognized as entering the park system in 1875. The land came from a donation from the Union Pacific Railroad. The park was originally designated as the First Ward Park. At that time, the trees in the park were almost solely planted by Fred Geist, Park Board Member. It is located in the southeast quadrant of the City, this park serves a large neighborhood and is a great place for fun and relaxation.
