Prairie Lakes Ice Arena

The Prairie Lakes Ice Arena is Watertown’s newest premier facility, opening in early 2024 as a state-of-the-art hub for ice sports and events. Spanning 91,000 square feet, the complex features two NHL-sized ice rinks. The main rink seats 1,523 spectators, while the second practice rink accommodates 250, offering flexibility for both large tournaments and community events.

Designed for hockey, figure skating, curling, and recreational use, the arena serves as the home of the Watertown Lakers youth program, competitive adult leagues, and the Watertown Shamrocks, proud members of the NAHL Central Division. Visitors can also enjoy open skate sessions, figure skating exhibitions, and curling events, making it a true multi-purpose community space.
