The Reading Royals are in their 19th ECHL season and proudly affiliated with the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers and AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The team serves as the Premier “AA” affiliate of the Flyers and the Royals play at Santander Arena at 700 Penn Street in Reading, PA (capacity: 7,160). Reading is set to “Restore The Roar” for the 2019-20 season under the ownership of the Berks County Convention Center Authority (BCCCA), which owns the Royals and oversees operations at Santander Arena and the Santander Arena Performing Arts Center. The Royals won the Kelly Cup in 2013, have made the playoffs 14 times, and are four-time division champions.
