About South Okanagan Events Centre

The South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) is a 5,000-seat arena that hosts everything from world-class concerts and major stadium events to hockey games. The complex has two sheets of ice, including the OHS Training Centre. These two sheets host the Penticton Vees and the Okanagan Hockey Academy.

This state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue features an NHL-size arena that can be converted to Olympic size. It also has lots of high-tech touches including a retractable seating system and private suites. In summer, the renowned hockey school attracts the best talent to train and perfect their sport.
