The State Soccer Championships, hosted by the South Dakota High School Activities Association (SDHSAA), take place October 17, 2026, in Watertown, South Dakota. This interscholastic championship event brings high school soccer teams together for state-level competition under the SDHSAA’s leadership. It is part of the association’s mission to provide equitable participation opportunities and enrich the educational experience of South Dakota students through school activities.&#x20;

he City Auditorium is located at 125 S Broadway. Built in 1939 the “Aud” has plenty of historical features along with offering a full gym with a stage and a large multi purpose room for events and meetings. The City Auditorium is also the home for the Codington County Veterans and Social Services Offices.

A number of Associations, Watertown School District and local travel teams utilize this facility for practice space.

Watertown Park & Rec also does Birthday Parties year round and a number of summer and winter programs, leagues and camps in this facility.

The Aud is available Monday - Friday for free open walking 8 A.M. - Noon in the months of September - April with the exceptions of holidays and other major rentals.
