From the mile-high mountain lakes of the Pacific Northwest to the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea...we've paddled them all and everywhere in between, and found there's nothing more wild and wonderful than the waterways of West Virginia right here at home in Appalachia. Call us proud, but don't call us crazy - as we've looked high and low, but still sing "country roads take me home" whenever or wherever we go.

We were ALL made to enjoy West Virginia more than we have so far ... That's why we obligate ourselves to make that known to every local native, fortunate transplant, and friendly passer-by that crosses our state line..." West by God" is called "Almost Heaven" for a reason...and that reason needs to be known!
