International Club

The value proposition at International Club is a straightforward one. The course opened in 2000 with the goal of providing a premium experience without charging a premium price.

After 15 years, countless Myrtle Beach golfers can attest to International Club's success. The Murrells Inlet course doesn't enjoy the high profile of some of its South Strand brethren, but a good layout and superior conditioning are tremendous assets and International Club has both.

The greens are consistently among the best in the area and 300 palmetto trees complement the property's natural, Lowcountry beauty. The greens are smooth and fast, so anyone struggling with the flat stick will have to look inward when assessing blame.

A four-star course, according to Golf Digest, International Club offers plenty of lengths, measuring 6,367 yards from the white tees. The 15th hole is the course's toughest, playing 406 yards from the white tees. The fairway is narrow and it's framed on both sides by water, but even assuming you are safe off the tee, a long approach awaits.

Par is always hard-earned on 15, but International Club isn't exceedingly difficult on the whole. The former Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association Course of the Year gives players ample opportunities to score, particularly the par 3s, which are there for the taking.
