At Austin Public Schools, physical activity plays a big part in the student experience. From Boost Up at Woodson Kindergarten Center to MSHSL sports at Austin High School, APS offers a wide range of athletic opportunities for students beyond basic physical education courses, including:

-Brain Breaks, Boost Up, and Mileage Club, all of which encourage physical activity as a means of increasing student focus
-Intramural athletics at IJ Holton
-Over 25 different sports beginning at Ellis and continuing throughout AHS, including football, soccer, hockey, basketball, and both baseball and softball
-A wide range of physical education courses at AHS including weightlifting, yoga, and Packer Fit Club
