About Joe Becker Stadium

Joe Becker Stadium was originally built in 1913. The original tenants were the Joplin Minors, a minor league affiliate of the New York Yankees where Whitey Herzog and Mickey Mantle played. Joe Becker Stadium has also hosted teams from Missouri Southern State University, the Joplin Outlaws collegiate summer team, and several other colleges and high school teams over the years.
