About Siena College

The Alumni Recreation Center serves as the home for Siena's women's basketball and volleyball teams. In the summer of 2016 the ARC underwent a facelift in Phase 1A of a update to the athletic facilities. The update includes construction of an enclosed 8,360 square foot practice court for the men's and women's basketball programs located on the east side of the ARC. An addition of a bank of bleachers is also included in the phase, which will make the ARC's seating capacity 2,148.

Siena College's Turf Field has been named Hickey Field in honor of Ambassador Douglas T. Hickey '77, H '16. The facility has served as the home to Siena's men's and women's lacrosse, men's soccer, and numerous intramural programs for the past dozen years.

Connors Park has served as the home for the Saints' baseball team since the program began in the 1950s. In recent years, it has enjoyed several enhancements including new brick dugouts, chair back seating, a new infield and a new team clubhouse located behind the visitor's dugout. The field is positioned between the J. Spencer & Patricia Standish library and the Marcelle Athletic Complex, making it the majestic centerpiece of the scenic Siena campus.

Once the home to five varsity sports teams, Siena's grass field now serves as the sole home to the women's soccer program. In the summer of 2011, the field was enclosed by a permanent fence and team seating areas were constructed. A new press box was erected during the Spring of 2013 and was first used for the 2013 season and a new scoreboard debuted for the 2015 campaign. The playing surface has been upgraded consistently over the past decade, providing one of the top fields in the region.

Siena's tennis courts are open to the general student population and Siena community. The six courts were resurfaced in 2010.

The Siena Swim Center was completed in 1992. It is home to the Siena Swimming & Diving and Water Polo teams. The pool measures 20 yards x 25 yards with depths ranging from 4 feet to 14 feet and has 8 lanes available for competitive swimming. 1-meter and 3-meter springs boards are available for divers. A Colorado Timing System is integrated in to the facility for team use.

Siena's softball field has undergone a huge facelift over the past several years. The longtime home for the softball program, Siena Field is located on the east side of Siena's campus. The field recently underwent substantial renovations and now features a permanent outfield fence with a branded windscreen, new dugouts, a new infield and batting cages.
