Founded as a golf club in 1927, Greenwood Country Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the country, as well as the only private country club in Greenwood, SC. The Club provides its membership a world class, full service golf experience including a PGA Professional golf staff, fully stocked Pro Shop, complete club repair and PGA instruction, and a full schedule of fun, social and competitive events.

The golf course was designed by legendary golf course architect George Cobb. The layout provides a challenging test to  golfers of all skill levels. Built in 1950, the 18 hole course, made up of Cedar and Lake nines, plays longer than its 6,800 yards from the back tees. With 6 sets of tees and brand new TifEagle greens, Greenwood Country Club will not disappoint any golfer, of any skill level.

The full-service golf pro shop, located in the west wing of the Clubhouse, is exquisitely appointed with the finest golf merchandise.
