Midland Athletic Syndicate

The Midland Athletic Syndicate (MAS) is a nonprofit organization based in the Permian Basin, established by a group of committed Midland parents and civic leaders.

MAS is leading the development of the Diamondback Energy Athletic Complex, a premier, A 120,000-square-foot indoor multisport facility designed to meet a critical community need.

Facility Highlights: ● (6) full-size basketball courts ● (12) regulation volleyball courts ● (2) indoor turf fields (soccer/futsal) ● Locker rooms, elevated spectator seating, concessions ● (3) Player lounges, meeting/flex rooms, pro shop, and outdoor patio

The complex will operate under an “Open Gym” model, offering free, non-membership-based access to youth and community members.

It will serve as a hub for regional and national tournaments, and host youth leagues of our own and for other organizations locally.

Projected Opening: Summer 2026

At the northeast corner of the Scharbauer Sports Complex, adjacent to Astound Stadium.
