USA Powerlifting High School Nationals

USA Powerlifting High School Nationals is the premier national championship for high school-aged powerlifters in the United States, bringing together the nation's strongest student-athletes to compete for national titles in a drug-tested environment. The event features both male and female competitors representing schools, clubs, and communities from across the country in multiple weight classes.

Athletes compete in the three disciplines of powerlifting—the squat, bench press, and deadlift—with overall champions crowned based on the highest combined total. The championship showcases exceptional athletic achievement while emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and academic-age participation in strength sports.

High School Nationals serves as a key development event within USA Powerlifting's athlete pathway, providing young competitors with the opportunity to compete on a national stage, establish national records, earn All-American recognition, and gain experience that prepares them for Collegiate, Junior, Open, and international competition.

The event attracts hundreds of athletes, coaches, families, officials, and spectators from across the United States, generating significant hotel occupancy, dining, tourism, and economic impact for the host community while promoting the continued growth of drug-tested powerlifting.

We need an open venue space that is approximately 30-50k sq ft. No specific flooring needed as we bring in our competition platforms. We will need 5-7 additional breakout rooms that will be large enough for ~25-50 people for weigh ins, equipment check, doping control, staff space, etc. We bring in a tractor trailer with our equipment so a loading dock is necessary.

Looking for a date in March of 2028. Full production of event takes roughly a week for full set up and breakdown.
