World Skate is offering destinations the opportunity to bid on one, or all of their 6 annual World Cup events across 12 roller sports disciplines. Each event has its own format, audience, and venue needs — review the breakdown below to see which fit your destination's assets and goals.
World Skateboarding Tour (Street & Park) 8 days · Men & Women · Olympic-pathway event, huge global media reach (26M+ social views, 80+ country broadcast). Needs a large urban street/park course, 750 lux lighting, certified scoring system, and strong broadcast infrastructure. Host covers full travel/lodging for WSK family + hotel deals for federations/media, 30+ volunteers.
Artistic World Cup (Free Skating, Dance, Pairs, Show Groups, etc.) 14 days (training & competition daily) · Men & Women, Junior & Senior · Indoor rink event: 25x50m FOP + separate warm-up area, min 3,000-seat stands, judges/kiss & cry areas, athlete/judge changing rooms, physio, VIP hospitality.
World Skate Marathon Tour (Inline distance) 1 day · Pro Junior & Senior, Men & Women · Flexible formats (elite 42km, amateur 42km/10km, kids 10km). Closed urban route with full race-day ops: 8+ motorcycles, medical/ambulance, 15+ staff, 30+ volunteers. Host covers 4-star travel/lodging for ~30 WSK staff (2 nights).
Speed Track World Cup Final 4 days (2 training + 2 competition) · Junior & Senior, Men & Women · Certified oval track (175-220m) with precise safety/lighting specs. Min 1,000-seat stands. Host covers 4-star travel/lodging for ~24 WSK staff (4 days) plus federation/media support.
Roller Freestyle & Scootering World Cup (Park & Street) 6 days (1 practice + 5 competition) · Men, Women, Junior · Shared FOP, lower footprint to host. Min 400-seat stands, 100+ athlete capacity. Host covers 4-star travel/lodging for ~32-34 WSK staff (7 days).
Downhill World Cup (Skateboarding, Street Luge, Inline Downhill) 5 days (3 practice + 2 competition) · Men & Women · Requires steep terrain (min 6% grade, 1.5km+, good pavement). Protected turns, athlete tents, 50-person meeting space, physio, antidoping facilities.

Interested destinations should submit an Expression of Interest to World Skate at events@worldskate.org, please see attached document for how to submit an official bid.
Looking for World Cups stop for 2027 and 2028 seasons. For Skateboarding only, up to May 2028 to be part of the LA28 qualifications. For other sports, until the end of 2028.
