Founded in 2010, Tribu Experiential is a Canadian event production company specializing in large-scale action sports festivals and experiential brand activations that drive tourism, community engagement, and economic impact.

Tribu produces several internationally recognized event properties including JACKALOPE (skateboarding and action sports), APIK (urban ski and snowboard), and BARBEGAZI (freestyle snowmobile shows). Together, these events attract tens of thousands of spectators and more than 2,000 athletes annually, bringing together youth culture, sport, music, and lifestyle experiences.

The company has successfully expanded its footprint internationally, producing events across Canada, the United States, and Australia. In 2023, Tribu launched the JACKALOPE Festival in Virginia Beach, which welcomed over 32,000 attendees and 700 athletes in its inaugural edition. The event featured iconic skateboarder Tony Hawk, followed by appearances from legends such as Bob Burnquist, helping establish Virginia Beach as a premier action sports destination. Following its success, the festival has been renewed through 2028.

In 2026, Tribu will further expand in the United States with the launch of JACKALOPE Block Party in Ventura, California, celebrating the culture of vert skateboarding and coastal action sports communities.

Tribu’s events are designed to place both the athlete and the spectator at the heart of the experience, blending elite sport competitions with festival-style programming that attracts families, youth audiences, and destination visitors.

Beyond its owned events, Tribu collaborates with tourism boards, cities, and global brands to create high-impact experiences and original content that strengthen destination branding and community engagement.

With a team of 20 full-time employees and an extensive international network of athletes, creators, and partners, Tribu continues to expand its portfolio across North America and emerging global markets including EMEA and Latin America.
