ISF School Summer Games - Gymnasiade U15 - 2027

The ISF School Summer Games - Gymnasiade U15 is a prestigious international multi-sport event organized by the International School Sport Federation (ISF), aimed at promoting sports and cultural exchange among school students aged 13 to 15. This event, which has a rich history dating back to its inception in 1974, is held every two years and gathers around 3,000 to 4,000 young athletes from approximately 60 countries. Participants compete in 25 sports, including three para-sports, fostering an inclusive and diverse sporting environment.

The Gymnasiade U15 not only focuses on athletic excellence but also emphasizes educational and cultural enrichment through various programs and activities, making it a holistic experience for all involved. Hosting this event presents a unique opportunity for cities to showcase their cultural heritage, infrastructure, and commitment to youth development, while benefiting from increased international visibility and economic impact from the influx of participants and visitors.

As this is a summer event, the competition will need to be held during summer/fall months during non term-time. Previous events have occurred in August/September.
