2026 YONEX U.S. OPEN

The U.S. Open is a Super 300 event on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour and is held in July with 300+ participants.

The BWF World Tour is a circuit of 27 tournaments with 5 levels of tournaments adhering to different delivery criteria (prize money, broadcast production, setup, etc.).

Over the past 15 years the tournament concept has developed and matured to now being a structure of tournaments exposing the best badminton players in the world on a continuous basis throughout the year. The exposure is especially delivered through the growth in TV exposure, but in recent years digital channels have further increased the reach to fans around the world. The BWF World Tour delivers broadcast to reach more than 600 million fans worldwide.

The structure has also significantly grown in terms of prize money, with the BWF World Tour expecting to generate a minimum of USD 15 million in prize money for the top players.

Competition days are June 23 to 28, 2026.
