This event is driven by a business model to make an economic impact within the city, market the city, and to increase hotel occupancy. This event also makes a positive impact within the community by getting more families outdoors along with connect children with their guardians and connect these families with local community organizations and businesses. 

Over the last 9 years Pond Hopper Nation has hosted over 100 events across the United States and have taken over 20,000 children and families fishing.

Pond Hopper Nation coordinates and markets the event from time of partnership up until the event. 
Event Overview
-Attendees come to the event.
-Sign in at the Sign in Table.
-Receive a fishing rod & reel that they will be able to keep in hopes they will continue to fish.
-Educational Booths will be set up revolving around fishing, boating, and conservation.
-Sponsor booths will be set up handing out free promotional items for the attendees.
-Most events we will partner with a local food restaurant to make sure all the children who participate get a kid's meal.
-Volunteers will on hand to help with fishing, baiting a hook, etc.
- Most events we have a Spin Wheel set up where if the kids catch a fish they win a prize.
- Most event we give out 3 scholarships for whoever catches the longest fish. 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
-These events we accommodate the city's needs.

Pond Hopper Nation children's fishing event

My name is Albert Talafuse and I am the CEO/ Founder of Pond Hopper Nation. Over the last 9 years I have perfected a children's/family fishing event that brings the community closer together, gives an economic boost to businesses in that community, and draws in people from a 2–4-hour radius.  At these events we set up Fishing, Boating, and Conservation activities for the participants along with fishing. Children ages 4-17 who attend will receive a fishing rod to keep. The goal for the event is to plant a seed within the community to make it an annual event.

In 2026, we are looking to make several new partnerships with cities to host our events, improve your local fishing events, or just help you market your city for a year. The overall goal is to get more heads in beds, make an economic impact, and make a positive impact in your community.
