The 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Marathon is USATF's premier road racing event and will select the U.S. Team of six athletes (three men, three women) for the Games of the XXXIV Olympiad in Los Angeles, USA, to be held July 14-30, 2028. Please refer to the 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Marathon RFP for additional information regarding the event and bid process.
An Intention to bid is due on September 2, 2025. The Final Request for Proposal due for evaluation is due on December 1, 2025.
