One of the hardest things to build in the event business is consistency.
Events change. Markets change. Team travel patterns change. New events get added, others phase out, and every year brings a different set of challenges.
But when I look back at our Prospect Wire summer numbers since 2021, I’m proud of the consistency our team has been able to build.
2021: 543 teams
2022: 507 teams
2023: 435 teams
2024: 615 teams
2025: 545 teams
2026: 517 teams scheduled/current
Over the last six summers, Prospect Wire has consistently brought hundreds of teams into our host destinations across the country. That includes established events like the Memorial Weekend Classic, Southeast Championships, Father’s Day Classic, PW World Series, Summer Classic and National Championships, along with newer events and markets that continue to evolve.
What stands out to me is not just the total number of teams. It is the ability to keep building a schedule that creates value for teams, families, facilities, hotels, restaurants and destination partners.
This summer, our events are once again reaching multiple key markets, including Florida, California, Arizona and Utah. Each destination plays an important role in the overall experience we are trying to provide, both on the field and off.
Growth is important, but sustainable consistency is what allows a brand to last.
Thank you to our staff, partners, facilities, coaches, teams and families who continue to support Prospect Wire events year after year.
We are proud of where the summer schedule has been, and even more excited about where it is headed.
