Rockrose Sports Complex Breaks Ground in Amarillo
Rockrose Sports park by Kids Inc. has broken ground on the south end of Amarillo.
When the project reaches completion, the new sports park is set to become a major recreational destination. Spanning a total of 72 developed acres, the facility will include 36 acres of high-quality synthetic turf fields designed to accommodate baseball, softball, soccer, and football. An additional 18 acres have been set aside for the future development of an indoor sports complex, ensuring the park’s long-term growth and versatility.
Construction is projected to last approximately 18 to 20 months, with the first games expected to take place by the fall of 2027. Once open, the complex will provide year-round opportunities for athletes and families, creating a vibrant hub for sports and community engagement.
