🌎⚾ Expanding the Game: Prospect Wire’s Vision for Growth
At Prospect Wire, growth has never been about simply adding events — it’s about identifying opportunities to bring high-level baseball experiences to regions that are ready for more.
While we’re proud of the strong foundation we’ve built in states like Florida, California, Arizona, and Utah, we believe the next phase of growth lies in expanding into new areas that are craving consistent, high-quality travel baseball events.
“The goal has always been to grow the brand the right way,” said Brian Werner, President of Prospect Wire. “We’ve seen what’s possible when you bring strong events to the right markets. Now it’s about identifying the next regions where teams are looking for more opportunities to compete at a high level.”
One of those focus areas is the Pacific Northwest.
With strong baseball communities in Oregon and Washington, along with previous success in Northern California markets like Sacramento and the Tri-Valley, Prospect Wire sees a natural pathway to expand further up the West Coast.
“Our success in places like Ogden has shown what can happen when you enter a new region with the right partners and facilities,” Werner added. “As we continue to grow in Utah and explore opportunities in areas like Provo, it creates a natural bridge toward the Pacific Northwest.”
In addition to western expansion, Prospect Wire is also evaluating opportunities in emerging markets across the Southeast, including Tennessee and the Carolinas — areas with strong talent bases and growing demand for quality events.
“Expanding into new regions is critical to the long-term growth of our brand,” said Rob Sitz, CEO of DS Sports. “We’ve built a strong presence in key states, but there are still many areas across the country where teams are looking for well-run, high-level events. Our focus is on identifying those opportunities and building something sustainable in each market.”
That approach is rooted in consistency and experience.
“We want to make sure that wherever we go, we’re delivering the same level of organization and competition that teams have come to expect from Prospect Wire,” said Nick Susie, National Tournament Director. “There are a lot of talented players and programs across the country, and we’re excited about the opportunity to bring our events to new regions.”
As Prospect Wire continues to evolve, the focus remains the same — creating meaningful opportunities for players, teams, and communities while continuing to grow the game across the country.
The next chapter is about expansion, partnership, and bringing the Prospect Wire experience to new markets nationwide.
