Young At Art offers a creative oasis in a unique and comfortable home environment complete with a backyard garden and patio to offer inspiration, and a ceramics area for pottery wheel, hand-sculpting, glazing and kiln firing. Our teacher-to-student ratio is unbeatable, and our staff is comprised of talented and experienced artists. Our Mural Wall is ever changing and always popular, giving young artists additional creative opportunities on a larger scale.

Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex is one of McKinney’s favorite multi‑use outdoor recreation destinations, combining soccer, playgrounds, splash pad fun, picnic space, trails, and family amenities all in one welcoming location. The facility’s fields and open spaces support a mix of organized sports and casual visits.

On November 10, 1914, seven women in McKinney met at the home of Mrs. J.E Reeves to organize an art club. Over the years we have had several names and hundreds of members, but we still meet every month to celebrate the beauty of art, friendship, and community. The artists associated with the Art Club of McKinney include both nationally recognized and up-and-coming artists who use various mediums and techniques to produce vibrant and expressive art. Our diverse membership includes painters, illustrators, photographers, potters, and simply people who just enjoy art.
