Laura Lee’s is an updated take on the American fern bar, with a focus on great food set in a welcoming environment in Richmond's Southside. Our space is comfortable and lovely, with living walls, padded chairs and semi-circular booths, and a classic mirrored bar. We have a contemporary and family-friendly American menu with seasonal and creative cuisine from Chef Scott Lewis (The Roosevelt, Southbound, Six Burner).

We’re a community of runners, hikers, bikers and ballplayers. We’re an outdoor playground, designed by Mother Nature, with class III and IV rapids running right through our downtown. A 52-mile bike trail runs along the James. The Richmond Marathon and Ukrop’s 10k are huge celebrations, and the whole region comes out to cheer on our local teams. In fact, we’re so sports-minded that the Washington Redskins have their training camp right in the center of the city. Fonticello Park

There are three entrances off of Riverside Drive for this section of the James River Park System. The 42nd Street entrance has parking for 30 cars. There is a trail along a river channel and river access over several small islands. The park system’s headquarters is located at the nearby Reedy Creek takeout with parking for 15-20 cars. The 22nd Street parking lot has spaces for about 45 cars. There is a mountain bike trail that links the main trail by the headquarters to the Buttermilk Trail on the hillside above.
