This 63-acre park in the nearby town of Wheaton has 1.5 miles of snowshoe trails, a sledding hill, ice skating rink and snowmobile trailer parking with trail access. Sleds are also available for public use at the sliding hills, provided by a local Scout group.

The Elk Creek Fishery area expands 330 acres of land in fee title, which covers approximately 3.3 miles of stream. Fisheries easements provide public access along an additional 10.8 miles of stream. Streams in the fishery area are all class 1 trout streams. Elk Creek supports a good population of brown trout with brook trout present near the confluence of the tributaries.

Sandy Acres is proudly owned and operated by Jeff and Marie Pagenkopf in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. The farm has been in the family since 1948 and today is a livestock and crop farm. Jeff’s primary focus is growing quality crops for their livestock and for the market. Marie focuses on the animal end of things at Sandy Acres.
