Sandy Acres is proudly owned and operated by Jeff and Marie Pagenkopf in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. The farm has been in the family since 1948 and today is a livestock and crop farm. Jeff’s primary focus is growing quality crops for their livestock and for the market. Marie focuses on the animal end of things at Sandy Acres. Raising the Miniature Hereford Cattle and Katahdin Sheep that are featured for Sandy Acres Meats is something they take great pride in.

The Elk Creek Fishery area expands 330 acres of land in fee title, which covers approximately 3.3 miles of stream. Fisheries easements provide public access along an additional 10.8 miles of stream. Streams in the fishery area are all class 1 trout streams. Elk Creek supports a good population of brown trout with brook trout present near the confluence of the tributaries.

Wheaton Park consists of 63 acres with a large portion being wooded and has many amenities to offer the outdoor enthusiast including: updated playground equipment, pickleball courts, tennis court, basketball court, gaga ball, ball fields, batting cages, and reservable pavilions!

Wheaton Park

This 63-acre park in the nearby town of Wheaton has 1.5 miles of snowshoe trails, a sledding hill, ice skating rink and snowmobile trailer parking with trail access. Sleds are also available for public use at the sliding hills, provided by a local Scout group.
