Buckrub Disk Golf Course

Whether you're a fisherman looking for a good fishing spot or an adventurer looking for a rope swing to jump from, Dells Pond has it all. Pedestrians have access to the pond by the public boat landing that has a nearby shelter and playgrounds. While there, take a hike up Mt. Simon for the iconic view that Eau Claire is known for.

Sam Davey has an ice skating rink on its property with a warming house. Hours are 1pm-7pm Monday through Friday with extended hours on weekends.

Northwest Park’s wooded 120 acres hold seven miles of single-track trails for mountain biking, winter biking and snowshoeing and a two-mile double-track loop that’s groomed for classic and skate skiing in the winter. They use hand-crafted meats from Rump's Butcher Shoppe in the neighboring city of Altoona for many of their dishes. Signature cocktails, wine, domestic and craft beers are poured daily in their bar. Their all-day fish fry featured beer-battered haddock. They serve the general public along with arriving and departing passengers to and from the Chippewa Valley. Two conference rooms are available for meetings, private parties, and banquets. Free parking is available.

Welcome to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 305 located at 1300 Starr Avenue in Eau Claire WI. ​ Post 305 is a great place to meet local veterans, learn more about your federal and state benefits, develop and enhance the community, and most importantly support our fellow service members. ​ Our Post is open to the public and we have a full bar, outstanding restaurant, excellent staff, a military museum, numerous rental facilities and a panoramic view of Dells Lake which can be enjoyed from inside or outside on our well appointed patio. We also host numerous bands and have a several specialty days/nights to include Karaoke and Sunday's with the Oldies. ​ The restaurant is best known for its Friday night fish fry and breakfast which is served every day of the week and the bar is best known for its great drinks and friendly staff.

VFW Post 305

The Roosevelt Elementary School grounds feature one of the outdoor skating rinks in Eau Claire, WI. Featuring a boarded hockey rink and warming house. Hours vary daily, from 1pm to 6pm on weekdays with extended hours on weekends.
