Lansing Sports Commission

Universally accessible playground for children of ALL abilities. The Community Foundation is responsible for building Play Michigan!, the first universally accessible playground in the region, designed to promote inclusivity and the health and well-being of ALL children. And because the playground is fully accessible, parents and grandparents who have physical limitations are able to enjoy playing with their children and grandchildren. The playground is welcome to all sports groups and visitors.

Art happens here. More than 600 pieces of public art grace the 48-acre downtown Lansing campus area. One of the most prominent pieces—the “Red Ribbon in the Sky,” stands 30 feet tall and delicately flows around a stainless steel, mirror-finished rod. Lansing Community College's Performing Arts Program presents over 40 music, theatre and dance productions each year. Most productions are free of charge, and are primarily held on campus in Dart Auditorium or in the Black Box Theatre in the Gannon Building. We feature a free Summer Stage Under the Stars series during June and July at the LCC outdoor amphitheatre. Our productions feature a diverse mix of students and guests artists from throughout the community, along with partners such as the Lansing Concert Band. Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
