Art happens here. More than 600 pieces of public art grace the 48-acre downtown Lansing campus area. One of the most prominent pieces—the “Red Ribbon in the Sky,” stands 30 feet tall and delicately flows around a stainless steel, mirror-finished rod. The sculpture is located on the edge of campus, bridging the gap between Lansing’s business district and LCC.

Just north of the Capitol Building, the 32-acre Downtown Campus is home to more than 500 public art displays, a beautiful Japanese garden, historic landmarks and more than 1.1 million square feet of state-of-the-art buildings. From professional training sessions to holiday office parties, LCC Conference Services has a space for any occasion. Conference centers are located in the heart of Lansing at the Downtown Campus and offer free parking, catering and AV services, and stunning facilities. Welcomes inquiries from sports groups.

Quality Dairy Event Catering Delivery

Lansing Community College's Performing Arts Program presents over 40 music, theatre and dance productions each year. Most productions are free of charge, and are primarily held on campus in Dart Auditorium or in the Black Box Theatre in the Gannon Building. We feature a free Summer Stage Under the Stars series during June and July at the LCC outdoor amphitheatre. Our productions feature a diverse mix of students and guests artists from throughout the community, along with partners such as the Lansing Concert Band. The Performing Arts Program offer a wide variety of classes both for majors and for those wishing to enhance their performance skills personally or professionally. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Universally accessible playground for children of ALL abilities. The Community Foundation is responsible for building Play Michigan!, the first universally accessible playground in the region, designed to promote inclusivity and the health and well-being of ALL children. And because the playground is fully accessible, parents and grandparents who have physical limitations are able to enjoy playing with their children and grandchildren. The playground is welcome to all sports groups and visitors.

Lansing Community College is Michigan's third largest community college with more than 20,000 students attending each year. The college has more than 200 degree and certificate programs. LCC offers courses in general education for those interested in transferring to a four-year institution, career and workforce development, developmental education and personal enrichment. The college conducts classes in downtown Lansing, Delta Township, East Lansing, St. Johns, Howell, and at several Michigan high schools. Lansing Community College Stars – compete in NJCAA Division II and have nine intercollegiate sports teams including men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s track & field, men’s and women’s cross country, baseball, volleyball and softball. The college hosts athletic events in the Gannon Gymnasium located on the college’s Downtown Campus.

Mitten Kitten 2026 Slash Up XIII

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
