Michigan Supreme Court Learning Center

With documents dating back to 1792, the Archives of Michigan is our state's memory. Established in 1913, the Archives of Michigan holds more than 100 million state and local government and private records. These records include the architectural drawings of the Capitol building, citizenship papers of individuals, and Civil War soldiers' diaries and letters. The Archives also hold over 1 million photographs and maps, plus films and audiotapes that are available for public research in a state-of-the-art facility. The Archives welcomes anyone interested in learning more about Michigan's history.

The Michigan History Museum tells the stories of Michigan's past, from the end of the Ice Age through the late 20th century, in special exhibits and 26 permanent galleries. Visitor favorites include a 3-story relief map, a mural of traditional Anishinaabe lifeways and culture, a U.P. copper mine, a one-room school and a 1950s auto show.

Michigan History Museum

The Lansing Children’s Choir is a choral music program for children and youth in Lansing and surrounding communities. Any qualified child between the ages of 8 and 18, with a desire to sing is welcome to participate. We are currently an “open” group, there are no auditions necessary. Placement is based upon musical and vocal readiness, emotional maturity, consistency of focus, attitude and leadership as well as age and vocal quality. The Lansing Trebles is for ages 8 – 13 (unchanged voice), geared toward first experiences with choral singing. The Lansing Youth Chorale is for ages 13-18, where previous experience is helpful but not necessary. Mission Our mission is to provide a creative outlet, through singing, for the children and youth in Lansing and surrounding communities by the rehearsal and performance of quality children’s literature. Choir Goals · To reach the highest level of artistic excellence in choral music performance as we can. · To explore, rehearse and perform repertoire of all styles and periods. · To provide a program of music that is an extension of the classroom. · To enrich the lives of children from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds in the Lansing geographic area. Desmond Ferguson has always had a passion for sports, especially the game of basketball. The name Moneyball was given to Ferguson by his AAU basketball teammates, Robert “Tractor” Traylor & Kevin Garnett. Known as a great shooter on the court, Ferguson’s teammates would always shout “Moneyball” when he scored. Since his high school days Desmond Ferguson has played in the NBA and minor leagues across the world. With basketball playing such an important part of Mr. Ferguson’s life, launching Moneyball Sportswear was a natural progression. In 2002, Moneyball Sportswear was launched with a vision to take athletic apparel to the next level, providing optimal solutions to millions of people across the globe. A collaboration of the city of Lansing Parks Department, the Capital Area Soccer League as well as public and private community partners and donors.

Founded by the Sports and Recreation Committee of the Lansing Bicentennial Commission and inaugurated July 4, 1976, the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame was established to honor our nation's first 200 years through the celebration of Mid-Michigan's athletic legacy. The Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame stands as a symbol of achievement, commemorating the collective dedication and spirit of our athletic community. See memorabilia from Lansing's greatest individual athletes and teams. The hall of fame is located inside the Lansing Center.

Among the largest in the country, Lansing's River Trail traces the banks of the Grand and Red Cedar rivers connecting comfortable parks, historic sites and urban activity centers for over 13 miles through Lansing and East Lansing. Things to see along the way include Brenke Fish Ladder, where spawning salmon and steelhead fight their way upstream during September; the Turner-Dodge House to the northwest; Potter Park Zoo to the southeast; and Louis F. Adado Riverfront Park- the home of Lansing's major festivals. Public parking is available at regular intervals along the trail. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
