We want you to have your best U-Pick Garden experience. Our goal is to have the least amount of rules as possible and to encourage the creativity of each guest.

The flower farm is comprised of wide grass rows with flower beds. You are free to cut flowers wherever you want. You can walk around and inside any of the beds. You are welcome to explore. Go anywhere inside the farm’s natural sunflower barrier and cut away!

Alber's offers hayrides, a corn maze, you-pick pumpkin patch, straw maze, farm animals, tours of a vintage cider press and crisp heirloom apples. Watch cider being made. Taste over 100 different apple varieties. Adults ages 21+ can try the wine bar open on select days.

Ervin-Stucki preserve contributes to the protection of the second largest watershed in the County (River Raisin), including over 1.2 miles of River Raisin shoreline on both sides of the river. Much of the property is made up of wetlands including forested floodplain, which dominate the site.

Here skunk cabbage, Jack-in-the-pulpit, and swamp white oak are found in abundance. Former farm fields in the preserve are slowly converting to grasses, forbs, and shrubs. At present, a small part of the property is still being farmed.

Ervin-Stucki Preserve

Emma Acres is a bucolic family farm outside of Ann Arbor that is committed to ethically raising healthy, tasty, and happy food for you and your family.

They specialize in pasture-grazed chicken, pork, turkey, and pastured eggs as well as 100% grass-fed lamb and beef. They also grow a wide variety of beyond organic vegetables during the summer months.

Emma Acres Farm

Brauer Preserve is a 226 acre nature preserve, with more than 2 miles of trails. Owned by Washtenaw County Natural Areas Preservation Program. This area protects diverse habitats, from sandy knolls to upland forests to wetlands, surrounding 85 acres of active conservation farmland. Great spot for birdwatching.

No dogs, bikes, or hunting allowed.

The Manchester District Library is the community’s connection to the world of ideas, imagination.

They offer free wifi, public computers, popular fiction, current DVDs, and lots of other great stuff for kids, teens and adults. Library programs vary from story times year-round to special events.

The Blacksmith Shop was built in 1877 by a group of stone masons in just eight days. The shop was owned and operated at that time by William F. Neebling, who sold it to Theodore Morschheuser in 1909. John Schneider became an apprentice to Morschheuser in 1911, and in 1922, Mr. Schneider continued the practice of making and repairing wagons, wheels, and related items made from hammered steel. He also shoed horses to supplement his income. John Schneider owned the Blacksmith Shop until his death in 1952. The Blacksmith Shop, one of Michigan's last intact Main Street blacksmith shops, was purchased by the Manchester Area Historical Society in 1982. The Blacksmith Shop is the meeting place and training center for several who still practice the blacksmith craft. Demonstrations are often presented during local festivals. The blacksmiths welcome your questions and enjoy explaining how the forge operates.
