GCV&M invites your family to step back in time with costumed interpreters to explore the 19th-century Historic Village, including the working brewery, blacksmith, pottery, tin shop and the baby animals on the farm. GCV&M is also home to the John L. Wehle Gallery, Genesee Country Nature center, and Silver Base ball Park. Open seasonally with special events all year long. It's located in Mumford, NY, just 20 miles southwest of Rochester and 45 miles east of Buffalo.

Stokoe Farms is dedicated to sharing our farm heritage. We invite you to come out in the fall to the pumpkin patch to pick your own special pumpkin and play on our 35+ unique farm activities. Christmas is magical at Stokoe Farms as families create traditions of cutting down their premium Christmas tree, taking pictures with Santa, or visiting our live Nativity. Enjoy a mile-and-a-half round trip train ride through our museum grounds. Tour the largest collection of historic trains and exhibits in New York State! All train rides depart from our restored 1909 Industry Depot, located off Route 251 West, easy to find from Exit 11 off I-390, just 20 minutes from downtown Rochester. Join us for an afternoon outing on our guided trolley tour, followed by a light lunch. We are offering individual tickets for our popular guided tour around the Museum in our open-air trolley, which has previously only been available for larger group reservations. This tour is enjoyed by visitors of all ages! An interpreter will accompany you on the ride, highlighting favorite points of interest as you explore the village. After the tour, you’re invited to unwind at the Freight House pub and enjoy a light lunch. Each ticket purchase also includes all-day admission to the Museum, so feel free to return to the Village and explore any locations you want to spend more time at.
