Agricultural Fair

The Agricultural Fair returns to Genesee Country Village & Museum with a celebration of the Western New York harvest, livestock and cooking demonstrations, entertainment for the whole family, and a vibrant market inspired by the country fairs of generations past.

Activities on the Great Meadow & Beyond

• Shop a Farmer’s Market: From food like fresh vegetables and baked goods to other tempting wares for sale to satisfy the palates of many. All items are grown or made right here in Western New York.

• Goats and Horses and Birds, oh my!
  • Explore the Rochester Poultry Association’s 119th annual show, featuring an impressive array of chickens, pheasants, ducks, geese, turkeys, and more.
  • Experience live sheep herding demos from Cherry Hill Training Center on the Great Meadow
  • Join the Equestrian Heritage Society and local equine owners for a stunning parade of horses as they showcase their majestic steeds throughout the Historic Village.
• Music, Crafts, and more
  • T. Bohrer’s One & Only Punch & Judy Show brings traditional marionette entertainment to life with humor and flair the whole family will enjoy.
  • Tap your toes to lively tunes performed by local musicians.
  • Discover the region’s rich traditions of folk art and fine craft through live demonstrations and interpretation by the Genesee Valley Woodcarvers, Genesee Country Lace Guild, and Rug Hookers of the Finger Lakes.
• Annual Blue Ribbon Competition
  • Exhibit your creativity, skill, and mastery! Entries will be displayed throughout the festival after judging is complete on Saturday around 1p.m.
  • Categories include: Baked Goods, Pickles & Preserves; Dairy; Beverages; Mechanical & Horticultural Arts; Artistic and Agricultural Endeavors; and a Youth Competition.

  • Don’t miss the LAST matches of the 2026 season as GCV&M’s four home teams face off to determine the season winner. Matches start at 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
